Bedding and Curtain Sets

Hi Yet again more curtains! I have just added the first few of several bedding and curtain sets. With my passion for curtains and anything else to hang in front of windows, I have come to realise that a bedding recolour plus a Loft Curtain and a Cornerstone Curtain recolour used with the fabulous meshes of: Windkeeper - Perfect Match Curtains, Bitzybus - Matching Bedroom Curtains, which includes my absolute favourite the loft curtain for lower windows and MsBarrows- 19, yes Nineteen, different Curtain meshes ...that all use the bedding texture for the curtain texture, we can have a curtain for every occasion and window! So hence my mini sets of a bedding and loft and cornerstone recolours! Also while I was there I have created a pale Ash and Wicker recolour of Windkeeper's Soma Bedroom Set, which I teamed with Curtains to match my Twigg Scroll Carpets.

How can you tell I'm addicted to window dressings?!? More recolours of things to hang up at the windows. I love the blind but realised I wanted more choices, so I just had to make some and share.

Another First! Clothing!

Well PJs anyways. I have just submitted my first set of clothing recolours/retextures. Here they are, Hope you enjoy.

First Non-Maxis Mesh Recolour

Firstly I must thank Shoukeir for giving me her permission to recolour her "Tis" Curtain / Room Divider. I have had this object since it was first uploaded to TSR but always demised the fact that it only came in one colour. I had a lot of rooms decorated in earthy reds and deep oranges! SimPe is scary! I've mastered the Wizard and DDS Utilities - well it is a wizard! So my second bout of special thanks goes to Simaddict99 for her tutorial on recolouring objects with SimPe. So... Durrah!! here they are: ...

One thing leads to another...

Well it started with playing around with trying to create a matching bedding for a wall I had created using some clip art, and so whilst trying to make something realistic I stumbled across some fabulous textures. So then went on and created several sets of bedding using Aussie Topenders Lucas Bedding Creator and several textures I have been meaning to use for ages. So then, being the big fan of curtains that I am, but not unfortunately the ones that the Lucas object creator does, I went ahead and created matching loft curtains. Then bedding and curtains need walls and floors and so it went on... ...and as promised months ago I still had files waiting to be collected together, named and submitted so here we go...a quick preview of some of the items coming to a screen near you...soon.

At Last!

Since my Uni course has finished and done my exams, I now have time to spend creating some new bits and pieces. So the first few mini sets are based around a blue and white flowery texture I called 'Chrysanthemum'. There are some walls, and floors, some recoloured tables and chairs - sort of whitewashed wood, and some bedding and curtains. I also have loads of bits and pieces that I never got around to submitting, so hopefully they'll be coming soon. I'll just have to get the files and screenies sorted!

Me? A Mini Site?

Well, welcome to all who visit here. I am so chuffed to have this mini site as I have admired those of our fabulous and wonderfully creative FAs.
This mini site contains a few items and lots I managed to make last summer. No promises when the next ones will be as I am currently in the last few months/weeks of my Primary Education degree - but this looks like a jolly good excuse to take time off a make a few more!
