Hi all!

Well, I suppose introductions come first. I'm Samantha, but please...PLEASE- call me Sam. I'm 16...don't count me out because of my age!

Personally I love creating things. My "big thing" in life is music. I am addicted to all and anything music. I am a guitarist, pianist, violinist, drummer, bassist, and I dabble in clarinet, harmonica, and recorder. I am also a vocalist. I like to think I'm pretty good at what I love to do, but hey- I'm not the one who hears it outside my own head. It's not my decision. Anyway, I've been playing everything since I was about 6...started formal piano lessons when I was 8, shortly before I had major surgery for short Achilles Tendons (birth defect...hey! I can walk now!).But it's been 8 years, nearly 9, and I'm feeling great. But that time in my life really helped to cement music as a part of me that will always be there, and I'm working towards forming a heavy metal/thrash metal band and I am going to try for a record deal. Foolish as it "sounds," the dream is very real: I want to become a rockstar. Not for the fame, but to have the chance to give back to the music community everything they've ever given to me. And, in case you're curious, my all-time favorite band is METALLICA and my idol, hero- whatever you want to call it- in life is James Hetfield.

That all said, I'm also an artist/graphic designer, which is probably why I like working on Sims projects so much. I attend vocational school for Graphic Communications, and right now I am a freelance artist for hire. I am capable of many different styles and projects. 3D modeling is a new hobby of mine, as I only recently got a copy of the Sims 3, and that is the first Sims game I've ever played (I didn't think I would like it, because I enjoy games like the Tomb Raider series and Dynasty Warriors and whatnot).However, I've been coding and texturing and designing since I was very little. Computers have fascinated me for the longest time- I can control them and make them do whatever I want, unlike so many other aspects of reality. My first computer was a 286, so you can see I've been at it for a while now.

But that's me. In a very small nutshell. Wanna know more? Just ask! I'll tackle any topic, from what my favorite type of guitar is, to my favorite clothing brand or style, to politics (I love politics, too), and anthropology! I'm pretty open and I like to think of myself as a generally friendly person, thought cautious and rather tempermental at times. But I am a come-as-you-are type of girl, and I don't care about your preferences, or your skin color, or whether or not you label yourself. Catch ya later, dudes and dudettes!
