Amelia Halter Tops
Recently, I was asked to make some re-colours of the Flounce Halter from my Tuxedo Tops set. I've come up with seven new variations in a range of feminine pastel shades.
Some of these tops come with a pretty floral wrist band based on the Maxis necklace that originally came with the top on which they are based. The rest come with a pretty white lace wrist band.
The top on which this set is based comes from the University expansion pack and was originally available for young adults only. I've converted them to also work for adults, but University is still required for the tops to show up in your game.
Visiting kangaroos - back soon.
In case you're wondering why you haven't heard anything from me for the last few weeks, it's because I've been in Australia. What a wonderful country! I had a fantastic time. I do love Scotland and it's nice to be home, but I must say it's a bit of a shock to the system returning to the sleet and gales and 5 degrees after getting accustomed to brilliant sunshine and 30 degrees plus on a daily basis. Anyway, back to the drawing board...
Tuxedo Tops

You might already have noticed that I'm a fan of tuxedo inspired clothing. My latest set comprises six tops in this style. All are available for adults and young adults. Five are base game compatible and the sixth requires University.
This will be my last new set for a while as I'm off to Australia for three weeks on 16th February.
Tuxedo Swimwear

This is a set of monochrome swimwear heavily influenced by retro glamour. I was thinking of the Silver Screen, old time Hollywood movie stars and the Bright Young Things. There are five different styles, all very elegant and understated; sexy without being too revealing.
All items are available for adults and young adults. Feet are bare. All items are base game compatible and do not require any expansion packs, stuff packs or downloaded meshes.
Debutante

My first set of 2009 comprises ten elegant formal gowns in white or ivory with contrast sashes fastened at the waist with a pretty satin rosette, which I have called Debutante. These gowns use a gorgeous mesh I've always loved from the Celebration! Stuff Pack. Some of these gowns have elegant diamanté straps while others have romantic pearl straps fastened at the back of the neck with a satin bow. Most gowns come with a bracelet to match the straps. I've also added cute bows to most of the shoes, while others have a simpler contrast stripe to match the sash. At least two of these gowns would be suitable for use as bridal gowns.
All gowns are available for adults and young adults. You will need to have Celebration! Stuff installed for the gowns to show up in your game.
Leader of the Packs Poll Results

The Leader of the Packs Poll ran between 13 April and 31 December 2008. The question posed was, "Which is your favourite Sims pack?" Thank you to the 933 people who participated. The results were as follows:
Title | % | Votes |
Seasons | 30.4% | 263 |
FreeTime | 13.7% | 119 |
Bon Voyage | 11.6% | 100 |
Apartment Life | 9.9% | 86 |
Nightlife | 8.4% | 73 |
Open For Business | 7.2% | 62 |
Makin' Magic | 5.7% | 49 |
Pets | 5.3% | 46 |
University | 3.5% | 30 |
Superstar | 3.2% | 28 |
IKEA Interior Design Stuff | 1.7% | 15 |
Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff | 1.6% | 14 |
H&M Fashion Stuff | 1.5% | 13 |
Hot Date | 0.8% | 7 |
Glamour Life Stuff | 0.7% | 6 |

Teen Style Stuff | 0.2% | 2 |
Vacation / On Holiday | 0.2% | 2 |
Family Fun Stuff | 0.1% | 1 |
Celebration! Stuff | 0 | 0 |
Festive Holiday Stuff | 0 | 0 |
As you can see, Seasons was the runaway winner overall, receiving nearly one third of the total votes cast and more than twice the votes of FreeTime, which came in second place.
Of the 24 packs available, the 3 most popular packs between them received 55.7% of the total votes cast.
83.5% of the voters chose a Sims 2 expansion pack as their favourite pack, 10.4% chose a Sims 1 pack and 6.1% chose a Sims 2 stuff pack.
Two packs, Celebration! Stuff and Festive Holiday Stuff, received no votes.
Several packs were at a disadvantage as they were only released after the poll had already begun i.e. Kitchen & Bathroom Stuff, IKEA Stuff, Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden Stuff. However, all of these packs fared relatively well - perhaps novelty value may have put them at a slight advantage compared with older packs.
Of the Sims 1 packs, Makin' Magic was the runaway favourite with 50.5% of the votes cast for the seven Sims 1 packs. Vacation was the least popular Sims 1 pack with only 2.1% of the Sims 1 votes.
Of the Sims 2 expansion packs, Seasons was the clear favourite with 33.8% of the votes cast for the eight Sims 2 expansion packs. University was the least popular Sims 2 expansion pack with only 3.9% of the Sims 2 expansion pack votes.
Of the Sims 2 stuff packs, the IKEA stuff pack was marginally the favourite with 26.3% of the votes case for the nine Sims 2 stuff packs. Celebration! Stuff and Festive Holiday Stuff were the least popular stuff packs, receiving no votes.

Recently, I was asked to re-colour gelydh's conversion of Maxis' teen jacket mesh using some of the colours from my Buckles set. I came up with six variations: four in feminine pastel shades and two chic leather jackets with contrast pockets and trim.
These tops are very versatile. They go well with both trousers and skirts. One interesting feature is that the length of most of the tops underneath the jackets varies slightly depending what bottom half you pair them with.
These tops are available for adults and young adults and require gelydh's mesh: Converted Jean Jacket For Adult Females.
H&M Autumn Collection Part 3

This is the third part of my H&M Autumn Collection for adults and young adults. Again, this set is heavy on the knitwear to ensure your Sims will be warm and cosy, with subtle colours and pretty accessories for a stylish and feminine look.
Again, all oufits are categorised under everyday with one item additionally categorised as outerwear. I've never re-coloured the shorts mesh before - I hope you like what I came up with. I love the tunic-over-jeans-and-boots mesh and this is the fifth time I've re-coloured it - green is not one of my usual colour choices but I think it works well as part of an Autumn set.
For adults & young adults. H&M Fashion Stuff Pack required.
H&M Autumn Collection Part 2
This set comprises another six cosy and stylish outfits for your Sims' Autumn wardrobes.
I've had so much fun playing around with the H&M meshes - I love the footwear and accessories - and Autumn is possibly my favourite season with its wonderful colours and atmosphere. I've tried to make all the outfits in this collection as warm and practical as possible, without compromising on style. This set contains my second item of outerwear - I converted the vest of what was really a summer outfit into a cosy fleece waistcoat and added a sweater underneath. I'm quite pleased with the result.
As usual, all items are available for adults and young adults and, of course, you need to have the H&M Fashion Stuff Pack installed for this set to work.
I hope you and your Sims enjoy this collection.
H&M Autumn Collection
After I released my H&M Summer Style Superset, I was asked if I could make an Autumn Collection. So here is Part 1. I had a lot of fun creating this set, taking meshes which weren't suitable for the summer set and trying out different ideas until I was happy with the result. The H&M meshes are pretty restrictive; it isn't possible to alter the basic shape of the clothing that much as the different parts are usually meshed on. And there are no bump maps, which I do miss, although this makes re-colouring simpler. In general, my re-colours are subtler than the Maxis originals, more practical and wearable - in my opinion! As with most of the H&M meshes the footwear is very cute and there are lots of lovely accessories. I have tried to make the clothing more feminine and more suitable for Autumn weather e.g. raising the waistband of the low slung jeans to eliminate that chilly gap between trousers and sweater and adding tights where before there were bare legs. This set includes my first ever outerwear creation. I considered only one of the outfits suitable to be classified as outerwear - I live in Scotland so an outfit has to be pretty cosy before I'll consider it outerwear! - but you might consider re-classifying some of the other outfits in the set as outerwear if your Sims don't mind the cold as much as I do!
Obviously, you will need to have the H&M Fashion Stuff Pack installed before these outfits will show up in your game. All outfits are available for adults and young adults.
