Drains!!!! Yes! You have no idea how much I have wanted these. For me all the little details really increase my immersion when playing. I think it's called "the Uncanny Valley" when something looks almost realistic, but not quite, and the effect is jarring. My valley is about to become a little less uncanny. Thank you.

Thank you for drains! That's where all the water is supposed to go, instead of into the basement. Or crawling insidiously into my roof and propagating all along the ceiling (and I think propagation is the right word since it seems to be making water babies -- the stain on the ceiling is growing even though it isn't raining anymore). It is never a good thing to underestimate water's determination to get into your house.

And the garden set is very pretty, when it can get a chance to show itself off between the rain storms. At least, that's the way it works here.

You are great! When the dishes haven't been done and the cats are peeing on the rug, all I have to do is go look at your blog and feel justified in ignoring the whole lot of it.
