I have a new story (sims 2) posted here at TSR, it is a time travel/romance/fantasy, a sequel to one I posted in September,
Check it out here, let me know what you think! OCEANS OF TIME II
Also, I have other stories I do on my own blog, to visit my main blog DREW'S SIM STORIES
Don't be shy, look around, look under my links, a lot of great Sims 2 and 3 storytellers have their own blogs!
The main story I am working on is called Crime story, takes place in 1969. Check it out, again, don't be shy, leave comments, I would love to hear from you!! CRIME STORY
Also I have a story blog about a clan of vampires, characters I created here at TSR. Click here to read BLOOD BROTHERHOOD
I do seperate stories about various characters, not a running serial.
And also, do check out the stories here at TSR, leave comments, the storytellers really appreciate it, it is a lot of work to take the shots, write, and upload a story, whether here or at a blog, appreciation is always welcome!
Have a great week
~Drew
CRIME STORY IS BACK
Hi all, wow, it has been since June since I wrote in my blog. A lot has changed, and for me, nothing has changed!
I am not jumping into the Sims 3 pool anytime soon, not that I don't think it looks interesting, but I just got BV and AL, I still have lots to explore in Sims 2 yet. Plus my type of storytelling requires a lot of CC, (historical etc) that just would not translate to Sims 3 as yet. So I am in no rush. Will still be doing stories and objects in Sims 2, am still a SA for Sims 2.
My latest story here at TSR is "Oceans of Time". Have a look!
Also at my blog, I restarted Crime Story, it is five years later, 1969.
An introduction and Chapter One are posted, also look down the left hand side for a short summary of the first 11 parts.
Also, will be away the whole month of November.
Cheers all~

So Long, Good-bye...
I will be away July 6th to almost the end of August, So everyone have a great, safe and serene summer.
I tried to upload a couple of sets, but I have been having no luck, do not know what is wrong, will try again before I go, if not, *shrug*
Be sure to check out my stories here at TSR, I also have an external blog where I post stories,
Look down the left hand side of the blog for current stories, and do not be shy, leave a comment, would love to hear from you!
All the best,
~Drew/drewsoltesz
Story Updates
Wow, sure is quiet around here.*crickets chirping*
Everyone waiting with bated breath for the Sims 3? Not this chick. Cannot see me getting it anytime soon. I am too emeshed in storytelling, and I need loads of CC for that, so will stick with the Sims 2 for the time being. Besides, I only have until Seasons, I have other EP's to explore yet before I move on to the Sims 3, if I ever do.
As you can see, I like to take my time. Plus I am sure there will be price cuts on the Sims 2 Ep's when the Sims 3 is rolled out. Yes, I am cheap.
I am still updating a blog story, "Crime Story"
Now on Chapter 8, only a couple more chapters to go.
I am slowly working on a story to be posted here at TSR, another western romance.
Also more retro Objects uploaded here at TSR. Working on some floor and walls sets and more retro stuff for the Month of May.
That's all the news that's fit to print. Oh, Why not visit my blog? I have a few downloads there that could not be uploaded here, like a couple of male sims (TSR only allows celebrities) Look down the left hand side of the blog under "My Downloads"
CRIME STORY PART 6: NOWHERE TO RUN
A new chapter of my blog story 'CRIME STORY' is now posted. I appreciate that some of you are letting me know you are enjoying it! Do please leave a comment at the blog though, I would love it!
Crime Story is set in the 1960's, and I use a lot of downloads from right here at TSR, look in the 'Retro Theme' section. I have made a lot of signs for that era, you can find them there for download!
Also This story is a little more adult than can be posted here, but it is not too out there, LOL!
Still waiting for the storytelling section here at TSR to be up and running...until then, no stories. Cheers!
CRIME STORY PART 5:Be My Baby...
A new chapter of my blog story 'CRIME STORY' is now posted. I appreciate that some of you are letting me know you are enjoying it! Do please leave a comment at the blog though, I would love it!

I would insert a couple of pictures, but I have no clue what I am doing. I feel totally lost, a voice in the wilderness with regard to stories here and how to post them. I may have to give a lot of thought to the fact if I will be continuing to post stories here at TSR. I will give it a few weeks to see if any bugs/glitches are addressed and make my decision then. Until then, I will not be uploading a story to TSR for a bit. I am still trying to figure out this V7!
Cheers and have a great rest of the month!~ LINK TO CRIME STORY:

POLL RESULTS
Time to take this poll down, has been up for a few months, EA better start worrying a little, over 65% said NO to the Sims 3 or they haven't decided...only 36% said they would be there first day, not exactly a ringing endorsement. You can officially play taps over the Sims 1, over 81% said the discs are collecting dust on their shelves.
It was a pretty even split over how big your downloads folder is, with 34% approx going to each, 1-3GB, 3-7GB and Over 7.
How long does it take your game to load? If you are like me, I pluck my eyebrows and file my nails while it loads, 68% said 1-15 minutes,
18% said 15-30 minutes, and some poor dears, 13%-wait over 30 minutes. Gracious, you could bake some cookies in that time!
Thanks to the over 230 people who participated, it was fun!!
Cheers!!
