Before you download this world you should be aware that I have all the expansion packs and stuff packs (not the Sweet Treat by Katy Perry). I did not use everything of the expansion. I did not use high rise building as they don’t seem to look well in this world. All the residential lots and most of the community lots have been made by me. This time I haven’t used the rabbit holes by EA (except the Daily Spa) but have made them myself using the rabbit hole mats made by Cazarupt (TSR). This is the link: http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/967779 Those mats don’t export with the world so you have to download them and install them in your Downloads map. This is really very important because otherwise your sims wouldn’t be able to have some professions. I have not used any other custom content in this world.
Some months ago I felt like playing again with the Sims 2 and then I got inspired by the world “Strangetown”… and I decided to make something similar for Sims 3. I even reproduced one lot and one family of Strangetown; the Specter family and their home as well as Nervous Subject and I have put them all together in the same house. They are the only ones who remind you of that old world but in the meantime, it has grown a lot. There are even some factories expulsing a lot of smoke which, of course don’t please the sims who live near. To play with this world I go to the “options” and slide the “summer season” to maximum and I uncheck the other 3 seasons. I even uncheck the precipitations (the rain as well). That way this world shows more natural. But hey, that is my choice. You may do as you wish.
