At the time of this writing (Jan 2003), it is not yet possible to edit the body meshes of Sim pets. This snail "dog" has a head half the normal size hidden inside a much larger version attached at the SPINE1 point on the "skeleton". There is no "body" at all; what you see as the body is actually a large prop. The head inside is usually completely hidden, but if you look very close you can see it bleed through a little when the pet chases its tail or bites someone (see insert in photo). This technique may be useful to other creators who want unusual Sim pets. This pet goes well with my aquatic themed pets, or perhaps with a family of fairies or sprites.
