Created for: The Sims 3
Ebenezer Scrooge lived in an old, dreary house which was once owned by his business partner Jacob Marley. The gas light at the street was not enough to light the yard and on a foggy Christmas Eve the knocker on the entrance door seemed to take on Marley's face. Inside was a gloomy suite of rooms lit only by a candle and a small fire in the grate. Darkness was cheap, so Scrooge liked it. There was a sitting room where Scrooge ate his lonely bowl of gruel and a hall with a wide stair leading to a Bed Chamber with a great curtained bed. This lot also has a bathroom upstairs and a kitchen in the basement. A Christmas Carol, based on the book by Charles Dickens has been given many film and television treatments. This lot is based on the set design for the 1951 Alastair Sim version - A Christmas Movie Classic house recreated at Lost Arts Studio.
