I remember when I first played The Sims - I thought it was amazing, it felt like having the ability to live another life, a life that I could do anything with and control everything about it.

I started off on The Sims original game, but I grew out of it as I got older and didn't bother with the Sims 2. My family got an Xbox a few years ago and along with it, The Sims 2. I got right back into the game and was desperate to get the PC version back, as it was my favourite.

While I was out buying expansion backs and "stuff" for The Sims 2, EA were about to release The Sims 3. I thought about getting it, but decided to stick to 2, simply because I already had most of them and I was used to it.

My brother then got into the game - he loves designing and the freedom to design his own house in whatever what he wanted was appealing to him. He bought The Sims 3 with his birthday money and began saving for expansion packs and stuff.

I got even more into the game, and a wish of mine, ever since I was young, was to have the Halliwell Manor from the TV show Charmed. Honestly, I'd love to own the house in real life, but seeing as that will probably never happen, it almost became an obsession to me to have the Manor in The Sims.

I've downloaded house after house trying to find the perfect one, and I finally got it. I'm not even sure why I'm writing all of this - I figure this is the place to admit of my Charmed/Sims obsession!
