The last book was fabulous I thought, but poor Tonks and Lupin...that seemed like a waste to me. What's going to happen to their little baby? JK didn't really get into that. Maybe she'll make a new series on Baby Lupin? Here's hoping... Also, I wasn't all that sad over Dobby, I didn't like him that much, but I was incredibly sad over Hedwig. I also thought that the wrap-up at the end (fifteen years later or whatever) was too fast. And I had kind of hoped that Dumbledore wasn't dead and/or Harry became the new headmaster, but that's just me.

I loved the book! it took me about twleve hours... I hated some parts. I could not believe Hedwig died... and then I thought Hagrid was dead and it was horrible! Great book though! I didn't mind all the travelling around, it made it seem like the characters were actually on the run. I'm reading it for the second time right now... I love it it's my favourite one. I loved Luna's friends posters on the ceiling! Speak soon

Well, didn't realize I had a limit of letters and spaces...any way...I wish she would have said a little more about what happened to the Dursley's after they 'rid' themselves of Harry.
Over all I found the traveling around to be rather boring, it was drawn out a bit much. My (15 year old) daughter is having trouble getting thru #6. Getting thru the first 2 chapters was difficult for me. Oh well, typical teen I guess.

Erin, Didn't want to spoil the book for the people on your blog, so I'm answering here. By the way congrats on your anniversary, I had my 27th on the 19th.
I was very upset over poor Hedwig to start off the book...I also cried when Dobby died. I was surprised that Snape was that in love with Lily too. JK kind of hinted to that in one of the books when Harry was in the pensive (I think). I had a feeling Snape was a good guy because she tried to make him look so bad until the very end. I was also upset about Fred... What really surprised me was killing off Lupin AND Tonks. Go Mrs. Weasley...
Harry being a horcrux didn't surprise me too much. I knew if he was going to survive, he would have to rid himself of Voldemort, and it didn't hit me that he was one until he destroyed 3 or 4 of them, duh..
Didn't JK hint to Petunia having some magic in book six, or was it just because her sister was magic? I knew I should have re-read it. Well, I'll have plenty of time to do the whole series now. I kind wish she woul
