About the new version

The new version will be ok by the time ( I guess...), but my first impressions are not so good:

- I can't move the pods once I've chosen the ones that are on my site.

- I can't find the featuring tool neither in lot downloads nor in screenshots.

- If I change my profile color theme, it won't stay but returns to the default. And there are too few colors for the minisite! 

- When I tried to write a new blog, the text I wrote didn't stay but changed all the time. Really weird and very annoying. 

- My banner is gone but it doesn't matter since I will be making a new one anyway.

The overall impression of the minisite is terribly messy. The old version was a bit clumsy, but there's no way of making the new one look nice and calm and organised. Sorry to be so negative but I pay for this and I'm not happy!:(

Maxis Reloaded...

Hi My Fellow Simmers!

I sometimes wonder if computers really add some extra special bonus value to our lives! We don't have problems with electricity very often but the other night I was writing an e-mail when all went black, my computer made an interesting sound and I was afraid of the worst! And I was not wrong!!

In three years this is now the third time I'm reloading Sims2 to my computer because of such major problems! I am not happy about that!

This means that my newest lot (in the picture) is gone before I could submit it. Great.

This means that all my sims are gone, generations of educated interesting charachters. Great.

This means that I have to reload about 7000 custom items that I had in my files. Great.

This means that to be able to just play I've already spent 10 hours during Christmas reloading and searching for my favourite items and I haven't finished yet. Great.

The good thing is that I already know by heart my favourite artists!!! I know where to look for! And this time I will only download TSRAA building and furnishing items to be absolutely sure I will not submit anything that I'm not allowed to! So, there may be a longer break before I submit anything. On the other hand, while the construction work in Simlington (former Pleasentview) continues I may be able to submit some new lots because I will not have my sims live in the Maxis houses:))!! I have huge amount of construction work ahead!!

Yes, what else is there in life than rebuilding the Simland????

SallyHails in memoriam

Sad sad news:

I heard from qvisn today that my TSR-friend SallyHails had died in a car crash today. Her husband is at the hospital, uncounscious of all that has happened. I am devastaded to hear the news and all this makes me so very sad!

I only knew Sally from the TSR, but I really liked her, her sense of humour and the joy of life! We had such nice chats and she was always very helpful and caring and her messages made me happy. And she was also such a talented artist! I'm all in tears, trying to work, but I am finding it hard to concentrate...

God bless Sally, I'm sure we will all remember her as someone very special!!! My thoughts are with her husband and her family and all those who knew her in real life.

Bella Tosacana: Casa di Limón

Hi, Submitted today: Beautiful rustic Italian house, inspired by Perelinka's great wall decor. Shakeshaft's lovely garden creations add special charm to the sheltered garden. And my all time favourites Cyclonesue, Spaik and Steffor have helped me to decorate the interior with their great TSRAA creations! Sheltered entrance to the house and to the garden. Bright yellow kitchen, lovely place to start the morning with a cup of coffee. Perelinka's Van Gogh inspired wall papers and beddings add special cham to this first floor bedroom. There are 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, diningroom, spacious living area and a tv-room. Garage and a lovely sheltered garden with a pool. PS. I confess that I do not like Maxis colors at all. And since colors effect me strongly I have to change all dull colors from all Maxis basic game buildings. I was curious to find out what other simmers think about this.

Simlington Avenue Collection

Hi! I can't stay out of TSR and I can't leave my sims alone for a long time. I am a horrible addict... Anyway, I have some new houses under construction. This is the first one of the Simlington Avenue Collection, called "Mon Plaisir": A lovely house for a family of two children. Price just under 100000§. Credits: Cyclonesue, Spaik, Steffor, Maxoid Monkey, Windkeeper & Lianaa. There are still some details that I have fix, but I hope to be able to submit this soon! PS. Submitted on October 8, 2008

Apartment Life EP

Hi!

Now I have it!

I bought the new Apartment Life EP yesterday, installed it and had time for a short insight of the new EP.

- I must confess that what it comes to building (my passion) apartments I will need help! So, it means that in the near future I will be learning about the new game play features and also trying to find tutorials that will help me in building.

If I get reeeeaaaalllyy frustrated, I'll just build "the good old fashioned normal sims2 lots"!
