My first legacy character pased away last night from old age. Her name was Michelle and she was about 75/76 Sim 'days'.

I've been playing with this family since early 2009. I go in phases where I'll play solidly for a week or so then leave it for months. So that, combined with using cheats to prolong age etc means a long game. Earlier this year I decided I wouldn't do anything to prolong age with Michelle or her husband anymore, as their kids were catching up to them in the age stakes!

It's very silly, but when one of my favourite actors passed away in real life, I wanted them to live on in my game and live to be a happy old man. So I found a skin of him and his girlfriend, then used genetics to make a little toddler daughter. 

They moved in, and I played the game. Obviously the characters became my own with no resemblance (besides looks) to the real life people. 

Michelle was married to Heath for their entire adult lives. And though they sometimes were tempted to stray, they always stayed together.

 She reached the top of the Medical career early on and always had a great thirst for learning. She didn't have a lot of friends, but was very close to her eldest grandson, Kennedy.

They had 4 children together and adopted another (Lorna). 

Matilda, Xanthe, Monique (dec as child), Liam (dec as young adult), Lorna (dec as child).

They had a son and grand-daughter in law (Rohan and Zaelie) as well as the various partners their kids had over the years.

Their grandchildren are:

Kennedy - son of Matilda and Rohan Depp, married Zaelie Winter

Heath jnr - son of Xanthe and Rohan Depp (yes the same Rohan, it got complicated).

Acacia - daughter of Xanthe and James Dawson. 

Sheldon and Elaina - twins (boy & girl) of Xanthe and Rohan Depp.

Rhiannon - daughter of Liam and Sabine Depp (very scandalous!).

Joshua - son of Matilda and Declan Winter.

It was verys sweet the day she passed away. I had a feeling that it was near the end (even though this was my first character to die of old age... ever) so I got Heath to finish painting her portrait and hung it over the bar.

I threw a little party with close family. She danced with Kennedy, Matilda baked a cake. It was very quiet despite the hissy fit where Xanthe and her step-niece Zaelie had an arguement about Rohan and both stormed out.

Then Death came along with a hula girl and a lei and took her away. Heath buried her beside Liam under the trees.
