Created for: The Sims 3
This house located in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island was the inspiration for the house where orphan Anne Shirley went to live with Marilla Cuthbert and her brother Matthew in the series of books written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This lot has plenty of room for a growing girl plus a garden for Matthew and a big kitchen for Marilla. The front hall has a wide stairway to the upper floor, and a 2nd stairway down to the unfinished. A large parlour with fireplace leads to a formal dining room with buffet. Past the downstairs bathroom is the kitchen wing with separate Dairy and Pantry, as well as a back hall with another stairway to the cellar. The back stairs in the dairy lead to 4 bedrooms, a sewing room and a bedroom on the 2nd floor. Part of my Historic Canada Series.
