Created for: The Sims 3

The 2nd Generation of houses built in Newfoundland between 1865 and 1920 were made slightly larger than earlier 1 storey homes. By raising the walls a few feet more headroom was gained in the attic space, creating a 1/2 storey. The houses featured two main floor rooms with a centre stair to the bedrooms located under the sloping roof. A linhay or shed addition provided a sheltered entry and pantry or summer kitchen. This home makes use of an exuberant red, white and green colour scheme and might make a nice home for celebrating Snow Day. Part of my Historic Canada Series.
