Did you see that Shirley's dresses that she made for me are out? I was so excited to see them last night. I had not had a chance to look to see if they were out. Oh yes, we do the DST thing. Sweden has very varying times of light. In the summer it can be light until 10 pm, in the winter it gets dark around 4.30. But that's in Stockholm. We don't get the midnight sun here, which is slightly a shame. I went to Tromsö a few years ago, and it was fantastic. It looked like dusk at midnight! But then again, in the winter the sun never rises there, so it looks like dawn at midday, which I can imagine isn't so nice. //Dragoness

Sally the best way to come out of a market like that is to just look like you spent a fortune but you actually don't. Do they expect you to haggle on prices? You'll have to let me know if you find anything interesting. I like living vicariously though others. You could never bore me. I'm the one who'll sit though someones vacation pictures and still have questions and be interested in seeing more. I kind of wondered the same thing about the sims and if it would be ok in Oman. Say I know you're in a very......shall we say "modest country"; are they going to bother looking on your hard-drive or going into your Sims game and deeming some of that....."too riskay(sp?)"? Went for a two hour walk along the coast line this morning so it blew all the cobwebs away. Out again tomorrow. Our middle son and his girlfriend are comming over with us in July so we are trying to find places of intrest to take them . At least its getting us out and about too. Out for a cury tomorrow with the same group of people, I shall hang back on the wine this timeHpe all is well with you

The party was great! Two of Katie's classmate came with us. They are hispanic children and I had to get a friend to interpert for us that we wanted to take them to this restraunt that was 45 min. away. I also just found out that in one of the homes they don't have enough food So we really wanted to take them to show them a good time and feed them. Mike and I have already started getting them goceries and Mike will be able to help them long term through his work. It brought tears to my eyes. We have so much to be thankful for.

Wow!!! I'm still in awe from looking at the photos of your house!!! Did I say house? I meant MANSION!!! It's gorgeous and I'm so jealous of you!!! Can you still remember the weather in the UK??? It's been hailstoning again today!!! I'm glad people don't really die from hailstone like the sims... they don't do they???
