I hope it arrives soon. It's good that you're trying to make friends, it's like we discussed before (or I lectured before - sorry $\:o$ ), you need a good support network. Is this family Omani or foreign? I think you should make friends with the locals and grill them for information. And then tell me everything you find out. $\:D$ //Dragoness

Of course i was delighted to be in the story, it made me laugh and cry, it was so sweet. I loved the castle and the effects Karen used, she is awesome, did you know she is expecting a new addition to her family by xmas. $\:rah\:$

$\:\)$ Hi Sally , I see you have been to my blog so you know that I arrived here safe . Had a good journey. We can get from door to door in just over six hours. It takes us longer to get to Kent to visit John's mum:PHow long was your flight? Left Wales in my winter woolies and now doing some gardening in shirt sleeves $\:D$ Temp only 22 here nothing like your soaring heat.We have some workmen with us this morning. Luckily they speak English. I only know enough Spanish to oredr a meal and a drink. I must make more of an effort to learn. Does the language cause a problem for you , did Martin have to learn some of the lingo $\;\)$ Off to make a cuppa , even the Spanish workmen like to have a drink every half hour , got to keep them sweet $\:P$ see you $\:\)$

WHen I go to university I'm going to throw myself into all sorts of clubs and activities, firstly to be busy, and secondly to make friends. I'm sure I*ll have a great time. //Dragoness

Oh cool $\:cool\:$ I never thought about it this way. Its like we are time travelling $\:D$ Somebody call the Sun quick we discovered time travel $\:D$ Also, did you see Jane and Shirley had made some tea dresses for me? Janes are out they are a pink mom and daughter dress with bubbles. Shirley's is pending. The headache med. is starting to work $\:D$ I feel a little relief. I seldom get them but when I do they are bad.

I think I'll be terribly homesick. They all say the first year of university is the worst. In fact, my sychology book syas that's when people are most stressed, and have many health issues, becuase it's the first time they're living away from home, and they don't have a close support network, because they haven't had time to make close friends yet. ANd I'm being terrbly overanalytical again. I do speak almost as well as I write, so there should be no problems there. I think, personally, that I'm fluent in both writing and speech, but maybe I'm biased. Sorry for the essay. $\:P$ //Dragoness

Hi my sweet friend. It sounds like you had at least a peacful albeit sad visit with Sam. I myself have been dealing with a little turmoil and just found out my little girl maltese has to have surgery. She is in heat right now and the vet wants to wait till she is finished, however there is a chance of emergency surgery if she takes a turn for the worse. I sometimes feel like I live in a negative vortex and am just waiting for the wind to change. I also know we are only given what we can handle (even if we don't like it $\:mad\:$ ) I hope each day heals your heart a little more. I didn't mean to write a novel actually just wanted to thank you for all your lovely comments and support and to wish you a blessed day!! $\:wub\:$ XOXOXOXOX Sesame

Well at least you won't be needing a coat. $\:\)$ Yes he arrived safe and sound, had great fun in telling me he went through hail and snow $\:P$ A busy morning getting everything ready . John always makes fun of me as I always tidy the house before we go away, he says" is that so the burglars don't see the mess" I just like to come home to a tidy house $\:\)$ best go and get sorted , will chat to you tomorrow. I did get Ann her job ( $\:D$ )! She was over half way through her adult life when I gave in $\:eek\:$ I'm still not done... I am 8 hrs behind England. $\:wacko\:$ It's a little confusing huh $\:wacko\:$ It's 10:00PM here so it must be 9:00AM for you... Is that about right?

Well that sure is a big difference from England. I lived in Arizona before moving to California.......schools don't cancel outdoor activities until it reached 115 Fahrenheit. $\:P$ That's desert for ya. $\:D$ Although it was MUCH cooler at night.....could easily go down to the 60's. $\:cool\:$ I really need to go find an on-line conversion chart......between the 2 systems. $\:confused\:$ $\:\)$ Having a high humidity though (the monsoon) WITH those temps you've got......that has got to be miserable? $\:eek\:$
