I hate people taking my picture too, I always look awful! $\:wacko\:$ Pete's Dad taught me a great technique for taking pictures though... you get the subject of the picture to look at something in the distace and off to one side rather than at the camera. It looks more natural and takes a better picture. Next time someone is taking your picture try it! A girl in work who ALWAYS looks great in pictures told me to tilt my head down and look up at the camera... that works quite well too. I'm not as scared of cameras as I used to be!!! $\:D$ $\:D$ $\:D$

It sound like a great experience, and a different place entirely from what i'm used to. I guess you would stick out there. Are the people friendly? What do you do? I'm trying to contain all my questions here, and not overload you, but I'm really curious about everything. $\:eek\:$ Ironing , that was not a very nice word for me to read first thing on a Saturday morning $\:P$ Only because you reminded me that I have a load to do myself. Its been there so long it will be too dry to do anything with , so I might have to wash it again $\:D$ It will be strange for you today on your own. I'm sure you find that you still talk to Sam. Even when we go to Spain and leave Sian here I do things like bend down to stroke her, or if I drop something when I am cooking , I call her to come and lick it up $\:P$ These little dogs sure make a big impact in your life. You will soon make new friends out there. You will have to start a Simers club. The sun is shining in Wales but its bitter cold. Its my baby's 19th birthday today, so some celebrating to do. Out for a meal tonight so no cooking for me. Have a good day Sally,keep smiling $\:D$

Yes, time is a great healer, but I'm sue you'll always miss him slightly, even many years up the road. And some day you might get another pet, and find he or she doesn't take Sam's place, because nobody can, but makes another place in your lives for him or herself. As for me, I'm fine. I've just returned from a ski-trip. Nothing very exciting, only to Sälen, which is often referred to as the "kids slope" of Sweden - that's where all the families with young children go, because the slopes aren't as steep as many other places. It suits me just fine, because I'm not very confident on skis just yet. It's the Easter break here, so I'm off for three more glorious days, and then I'm back again. I've got a huge project due in the day after the break, which has marred my trip somewhat. But these are just boring, everyday events. I'd much rather hear about you and your new, exciting life. What is it like in Oman? Tell me everything, I'm really anxious to know! //Dragoness

Wish I had known that when I was younger , I might have moved there. You will soon get into a routine. Hi Sally, are you having yet another sunshine day? I was so tired yesterday after all the heat and sunshine when I got home I just lay on the bed and fell sound asleep. You know I've been thinking, maybe the reason why Sam had to leave is because you have to think of another relationship you are missing out on. Maybe you should think of having a little baby, i am sure all these lovely ladies we've became friends with will tell you how amazing it is to have someone to love unconditionately( i hope i spelled that correct) , but most of all to have someone that love you back like only a child can is wonderful. I can go on about this all day because there are things that my daughter's love does for me that has me in tears if I have to start explaining. Well i don't want to sound all soppy today. Hi Sal thanks for the comment on my avatar, it was quite easy, my wonderful hubby bought me this cool apple for my birthday last month and my gorgeous daughter discovered this photobooth application with lots of things it can do. Hi Sally, I just discovered in someone else's GB that you've lost your precious puppy. I'm so sorry. I know how devastating that is. We lost our miracle cat last year, I still see him out of the corner of my eye, I miss him sitting on my lap. My son sent me a poem that has helped me alot. Google poem "The Rainbow Bridge". I find comfort in it still and I hope you can too. judi

I had my first daughter just 12 days after my 17th birthday, but the one in the pic was my 3rd child when i was 20, I had 6 kids in 8 years, i wanted 12 but it was too expensive.LOL $\:P$
