IMPORTANT: Beach lots are different, and if you don't know why I would suggest reading "The Hidden Rules of Beach Lots" tutorial in my tutorials pod so you know what to expect. The shortened version is:
* DO NOT turn beach lots to place them. Take them out of the bin and place them in whatever direction they are already facing. If you turn them, you may find they crash or are buggy.
* Try to place beach lots in either the same neighborhood, or a REASONABLE match to the neighborhood, to avoid beach height problems.
* If items are floating on your beach, it is because you placed the lot in a beach spot that is LOWER than the downloaded lots beach. Beaches can't adjust like regular lots can...only the land areas of a beach lot adjust. So, if there are just a few things, grab them and they will drop back down where they should. If it's a LOT of things, I would suggest trying to find another spot for the lot, or even better, to place it in the original build area.
