New Mesh

I'm working on my first mesh in almost a year! I had to refresh on the very basic stuff. lol Anyway, here's a peak. I love love love it! Or at least I love the idea of it. Now if I can make it work, I'll be ecstatic! I have to fix an ankle and a weird shadow. I hope you like!

Hi Again

I haven't done anything with the sims for a while. Practically the moment things became more stable at work, my boss put in her notice and my new boss is pretty insane. I've ignored the sims to veg out and watch movies in my down time. Anyway, I decided to do a couple of outfits for some meshes that never made it on to TSR. I've uploaded the meshes to make it easier for everyone to download them.
I've been away for so long, I'm really not surprised to see that not only am I not a "Select Artist" but I'm not even listed in the retired artist. Like I said, I'm not surprised, but a little disappointed and a twinge of hurt. Oh well, it's not like I have a lot of time to dedicate to the cause. I hope to find more time to create than I did before, but since I really don't know if it will work out for me, I can't make any commitments. Cheers everyone and thanks for the past support. More Sims stuff to come

Well, I feel like TSR is a different place since I stepped back! So many changes have occurred! Well, my work situation has stabilized and I'm back to a nice 40 hour work week! YAAAAAYYYY! And I bought Seasons and I must say that it's probably my favorite game so far. I love the ladybugs especially. :) Well, I'm working on some new meshes and I'm going in a new direction. I loved being an FA, but now that I've laid that aside, I feel a bit freer. I always felt a bit obligated to do certain things--not that TSR made me feel that way, but I just did. Now, I feel like I can create for me again! Anyway, I'm just glad that my work has calmed down so I can have a more balanced life! :)

More Ruffles

I am home sick and I guess that's a good thing because it gives me quiet time to do a little sim stuff. I submitted a cute cut away skirt with ruffled undies. Maybe someone more talented at skinning can make a cute maid outfit. :)

Stepping Back--but not away

Hi all! As you may have noticed, I'm no longer a "Featured Artist." I requested this status because I obviously haven't got the time to create as much as I should (in my mind) to maintain a FA status. Instead I requested the Select status, this way you all still will know to watch for stuff from me. I didn't want to "Retire." Thanks for all of your support!

New Set For The Super Bowl

Well, I worked so much last week that I thought I would drop from exhaustion. Then I slept all day Saturday (practically) and had just enough energy to do a recolor set. Here it is for your little girl sims. Should be published in a couple of days. :)

A Note About Honor

I think that the Sims community works on the HONOR system... If a custom content creator spends hours working on a piece and publishes it here or another site, it's really a matter of decency and honor that prevents the general public from taking it and claiming it as their own.

That being said, I recently had that happen to a free set published at ts2creations. A person published it here. They didn't even bother creating their own preview pics and left MY title. Now that person and her friend are leaving comments in my guest book. One of them is targeting my ruffles, which I find particularly HEINOUS. I am not mentioning names, but I'm sure you'll figure it out if they leave more nasty comments in my guest book. I've deleted the ones they've left thus far and reported them to the admins, though I don't know what can be done about this childish behavior. Suffice it to say, they exemplify people with NO honor.

And leave my poor ruffles out of it!

No time to create

I'm still really busy at work and will be until a new controller can be found. Hopefully the 10 - 12 hour days will stop soon and I'll have more time to spend with my family and this family!

I fell down and broke my crown...

I'm sore from the tip of my head to the bottom of my toes. We had a deep fog and freezing temps... which caused black ice to form on everything. Needless to say, Fila's aren't built for walking on ice. Anyway, that's only a part of the crappy luck that has befallen me lately. I'm very stressed at work. I just wanted to apologize for my absence. I'm not freaking out and I'm still creating. Just incredibly busy in RL and having a hard time finding energy when I'm at home. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to Milkshape in the next few days!

Well, I'm scrapping the trench. Each time I think it's fixed, I notice a freakin' hole in the mesh. If I get all of the holes fixed, the poly count is out of control. Back to the drawing board. And now for something more relaxing. A new mesh... but what shall I make? I've got a few hours this weekend to do my lovely meshing... Shall it be a dramatic gown for New Year's Eve? No, too many of those out there... I am bored with making men's meshes for a while. Sorry. I'll play with milkshape and try to come up with an interesting mesh.
