I only Sim to build houses and decorate lots, rarely play any characters although if I really love the way one of my houses turn out I will create a Sim family to play in it for a bit. Most of my houses are designed from house plans I find on internet sites or homes that I know from real life. I have been known to carry my camera around town to take pictures of houses that I like in my neighborhood so that I can build them in my game.

For Christmas I bought myself the new stuff pack "Mansions and Gardens". I was excited that Maxis had finally put out a stuff pack that is geared towards the aspect of the game that I enjoy - building and landscaping. I'm so excited to be an SA on TSR. I have loved this site since I first started Simming and now I am one of the crew! Unfortunately I had surgery on my shoulder last week and it will be a bit of time before I can get back to my usual routine so no lots for a week or so but then it will be gung-ho as I have several weeks off work to do nothing but relax and play! ...More

I haven't been building as many lots lately as I usually do because we had problems with a massive power outage that wrecked my computer. It's fixed now but I am going to be having surgery on my shoulder on October 15 so I imagine that will keep me out of the game for a bit as well.
