I build this rooflights some weeks ago for a contest I entered on simforum.de. Theme was to furnish an attic.

this rooflights works with an 45 degree roof. build your roof like you want it and keep space where you want to place the rooflights (1)
use the moveobjects on cheat to place them
there are two ways to do this (take look at the detailed pics)

FIRST
*you can place the windows into the empty area without building a wall (2)
*If you place the windows in this way, the light does not shine through like it does through 'normal' windows (3+4)

SECOND
*the rooflights work as normal window too, so you can build a wall in front of the empty space you left (5) and place the windows on the wall (6)
*light does shine through like through normal windows (7+8)
*but there is another issue: the wallshadow is visible and from the top you can see a small band (6) :-(((
