Hi Ginger_Ale, For New objects, after you enter the House Design Game and before you put a Sim(person) into the house you have to enter and leave the house a couple of times.
When you leave the game you must definately not press Save so the game gets a chance to recognise the newobjects.
If you press SAVE the game will not recognise the new objects and it will return to the objects previously placed there.
So, therefore if you follow these instructions you will be able to see the new placed objects without any problems!!
