Well, we always try out best to make our downloads base game compatible, since many players do not have EPs. The base game has only one lantern, which is a file with a dark shader. Lamps don't look good when using this base. The lantern you mentioned is a wall lantern and there's no base game off the grid wall lamp to clone from. If we manage one day to figure out how to make a lamp look good from that base game lantern, we could try to make it goes on the wall and recreate that lamp. But for now, we can't. If it is cloned from a candle, we can not remove the flame. And there's no base game wall candle to clone from as well... sorry, we are just designers, not modders. We only can use the bases the game itself offers. Your question is genuine and we wish we could make more off the grid lamps... and we really wish one day figure out how to make that lantern look good...
