Up and Running!

Ah! Finally have my new computer set up! It has taken me a week to redownload all the programs/stuff I lost (I do mean I lost EVERYTHING, all my precious textures and links,etc) .... but I am now ready to begin building again ... it is so lovely to have a new, powerful computer ... I am most impressed by my new grahics card ... the detail in my Sims2 game is awesome and I am enjoying it beyond belief! Now back to the drawing board to create, create, create! Since October is right around the corner .... perhaps I'll start with something .... hmmm .... spooky!

Computer Update

Okay ... I have had enough TV ... 4 days and I can't take it anymore. Placed my order for a new computer .... and providing everything works as it should (?) I should be up and running by the end of the month. I have a lot that I want to create for October .... so for now I am resorting to pen and paper with designs that I will work from once my computer is installed. Until then ... as Arnold would say .... "I'LL be back!"

Computer Problems!

*screams in horror* .... Yes! The worst has come to past ... I have blown BOTH my disk drives and am unable to access my Sims2 game. Oh woe is me! I am being forced to watch TV instead *much moaning here* .... and must make a decision soon as to 1) Buy a new heavy-duty computer with a spiffy graphics card and 20 inch digital flat screen 2) Have my old clunker of a computer fixed. What to do, what to do? Bottom line is it may take me a week or so to decide, of course if I have to watch much more TV .... I may make the decision sooner.

Sherlock Holmes Residence

Coming soon! I have been working on this house for a couple of weeks now. I hope to have it ready in a day or so. I will be showing it with 'FA" furniture, but the house will not be uploaded with those pieces. I will provide links to all FA items shown to help you decorate Sherlock's home! NOTE: For best installation of this lot, please use 'Sims2Pack Installer'.

Lord Raleigh's Manor Tip!

If you would like to make the 'cut away' walls function work for the servants' quarters, just move the cow sideways in its' stall and delete the 'half-wall' and replace it with a regular wall. That will make it a bit easier to view the inside of the little house. I thought I would also add a close-up of the front entrance to the manor, since in the original photos it is not shown clearly.

Designer Fabric Sets

I think I have Spring fever! My current projects are 3 sets for the bedroom. Each set will have wallpaper, a rug and matching bedding for double and single beds. I am working with some bright and bold designs.... here is a peek of my first set.

Tuliyet Farm

This is my current project and should be uploaded in a day or 2. I am still tweaking a few area in landscaping and it looks like I will have to submit it unfurnished. This is a large house (medium lot) and already weighs in at 2+MB. But I think those of you who are into this style probably already have a large selection of custom furniture and decorations to deck this house out!

Forest Folk Project Finished!

Yep, I am all finished with this series. The six houses have been tested, played, revamped, etc... they currently are in variest stages of approval with the first house to be published on May 13. Hopefully the other houses will be approved and published within a reasonable amount of time. I know since we have a theme week starting very soon ... there could be some delays ... :O) And just as a sidebar here ... each houses' lot does have room for a driveway. Remove some trees and lay that paving!

Forest Folk Project

I am currently working on a large project, a series of 6 houses which price ranges run from $20,000-$80, 000. These are simple houses but have much charm and will be suitable for 'elfin' like creatures as well as your 'human' simmies. I am in the testing-phase right now, checking for bugs and making sure the houses are playable. This is a little sample of the most expensive house which is called 'Bain House', 'Bain' meaning 'beautiful' in the elfin language of Sindarin.
