Seaside Cottage Series

Oh, yes ... I have started a new series! I am not sure how many lots will be included in this yet ... it depends on how things flow ... time, etc. Here are 2 preview pictures to prove to you all ... I am still here and breathing, lol! This series will have a 'beachy' feel to them and all in pastel tones ... no old trashed houses in this series ... at least I don't think so. I will start uploading in a week or two .... still moving somethings around in the lots.

Retiring ...

Yes, it's true .... I am retiring as a Select Artist ... but I am not leaving TSR! I will still be uploading things now and then (probably quite a bit through the summer when I am on vacation) ... so nothing much will change.

Ole Mediterran Windows & Door

I just love these windows and door by OleManTiker at InSIMenator. The truth is I am correcting a problem with these recolors. In my Sleepy Hollow Lots 5 & 6, I used these build items and had recolored them. Well, the recolor does NOT show up in the packaged lots. I have no idea why this has happened. But if you have downloaded the those houses ... you will have to add the recolors separately. For now, this is the only way I can think of to fix the problem. A special thank to brad_lea for contacting me and letting me know there was a problem!!!

Little Nottingham Manor

Small, comfortable house for that Sims family who want to live outside of the city. Lovely exterior walls are by mayskaya, and are absolutely wonderful and so realistic. Home has nice, good-sized rooms where your own special decor can be added for that custom look. Mostly Maxis items are used with the exception of spiral staircase by Spaik (very cool) and windows by Chrissy6930. Preview pix of interior.... Entry Way Spiral Staircase Dining Area

Women of the Black Family

I almost forgot to mention these portraits .... thought they would look good in 12 Grimmauld Place since it is the family home of the Blacks. Portraits include Bellatrix, Narcissa, and of course, Sirius Black's mum, Mrs. Black ... the screaming-mimi. Mrs. Black comes with a 'soundproof' curtain.

12 Grimmauld Place

I truly did the best I could on this lot. I am sure there are better 12 Grimmauld Places out there in Simland ... but this is the best design I could come up based on the available info that I had. I hope some of you find it adequate and I did the 2 'morphed' versions just for fun. Here are some pix for you ...

Hello! ....yes I am working on a project ...

Well Happy New Year to everyone! My next project will be ready in a week or two ... and I want to offer a special thanks to Zenta889 for giving me a kick-start to begin this project. With her request, I have begun '12 Grimmauld Place' from the Harry Potter series. I don't have much to go on in terms of specs (book/movie/game/HP Lexicon) so it will be what I think it would look like. I'm sure everyone has their own vision of it ... but I will do the very best that I can for all you HP fans out there. And it will be slow-going since I am creating new textures as I go ... room by room, etc. Now the odd thing about this project is that it will be a 'series' of 3 lots ... that's all I will say for now ... but here are 2 preview pix for you to gander (no, not the goose), at....

Vacation ...

Just a short note here to let you know I will be away over the holidays ... leaving tomorrow for the coast to a cute little town called Cambria, here in California. I plan to do nothing on vacation but stare into space, maybe do some shopping, and not use any of my brain cells, besides I'll have no computer access (boohoo) and not even a TV. So I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas now!!!!

A Cautionary Tale for Multi-taskers

Oh Woe Is Me! I have done something so baaaaaaaaaaad, bad it hurts to think about it. You have probably wondered why I have been going nuts with bedding (here a color, there a color) ... I have been trying to work out my frustration of deleting (yes, I did say deleting *curses loudly*) my main building account on my computer *curses again*.

While cleaning up my extra files and user accounts on my computer ... I was on the cellphone, didn't have my glasses on, had the dog on my lap, drinking my coffee, and smoking a cigarette (okay, so I have one bad habit) ... and accidently erased my Sims Builder account ... everything is GONE ...POOF! All my precious textures ... I had even created all new walls for a new series ... and I was planning on starting the construction ... all gone, gone (*curses, again*)

So before hitting that 'delete' button (*curses, again*) ... focus, focus ...

1. Put your glasses on.
2. Dog off the lap.
3. No phone calls.
4. No smoking.
5. No saying bad words. (I guess that's a bad habit, too.)

And now I promise to STOP making bedding ... you have had enough torture for this week.
