Hello Mollie!

We already updated the beds. Some simmer reported this issue last December. We've performed a test to know if this issue was happening with us. The beds are working properly. Only weird thing was: the students were awake in PJs aside the bed. But all is OK. Just needed to ask them to go back sleeping.
The simmer returned 2 months later saying that after patch her game and redownload the beds, all is working fine. So, I suggest you to patch your game and redownload the files as it worked for her
