Hello SteveB, I came across your profile during my hunt for treasure chests which I might add is fun! However, I just read the April 1 News article titled "TSR responds to myths & lies" and I just wanted to say I think it is good TSR spoke up! I have to admit that I haven't heard any of the slander and I am not familiar with the Pirate site or 'Coconuts' but after reading the article, I am thankful for that. I have only been a member of TSR since sometime in 2006 (I think) and have only recently begun to actively participate in the community with my creations (novice that I am) and I must say it is the best site for sharing artistic work as well as being warmly received by members from all over this globe. In addition, the few times I have had to seek adivce or help, the TSR staff cannot be beat with their generous and accommodating assistance. Therefore, I want to thank you for starting TSR those many years ago and I look forward to being a part of a commmunity that serves so many fantastic Sims2 creators, players, and staff who all have one thing in common--the love of the Sims! $\:wub\:$ Thank you for TSR!! $\:D$ ... tey $\:rah\:$

Hi Steve, I, for one would like to let you know, That this site is a wonderful place to be. For a couple of years I stayed on the side line and just browsed around. I guess I joined about a month ago. I wanted to be a part of the community because I wanted to be able to comment on all the wonderful stuff here and tell them how grand thier stuff is.. Hello. $\:\)$ I'm hoping that you can help out a TSRian by the name Ame-C. $\:confused\:$ She is able to access downloads but nobody's guestbooks including her own will work......she can not sign them. $\:wacko\:$ I am friends with this player and as such we have exchanged persona e-mails (how she was able to let me know) can someone from TSR please make it so she can once again go to the guestbooks. $\:cool\:$ Thank you. $\:cool\:$

Hi Steve, feel terrible about asking you a question on your guestbook $\:\($ , but i didn't know who to ask? I just found out/realised that when you come 2nd in a TSR competitionyou get 750 Kudos. I haven't got mine yet. Who do i check this with, again sorry about bothering you, especially when I won such a great prize anyway, I feel guilty about asking about the Kudos. SimonettaC. $\:D$

Dear Steve, I am really upset, I have had to upgrade my harddrive & the computor store where they did has put my operating system on this harddrive which is really screwin things up for me on your site. I have uninstalled tsr wizard & reinstalled however I keep getting a button that pops up & says EXEPTION on top & in the box it says disk I/O and it wont let me download anything, I have tried everything including taking my old tower & new harddrive back to them & complain they have tried to help & have been unsucessful ..Is there anything you can suggest that doesn't cost me another 350.00 for a whole new operating system because I do not get to keep the old harddrive as it was exchanged for the new one & they are going to take my operating system off the old harddrive.... I upgraded so sims would run right & it run beautifully except for your site, which I would miss terribly I love sims & I love this site & would recomend to any who play sims!!!! sincerely shannon robbins

Could you please give a little more detail on the custom creation aspects of the Sims 3? Your recent blog post talked briefly about textures, but have you found anything out about modding or meshing? How detailed are textures, since they can apply to all objects (ie. are there nice fabric folds/shadows on a sweater, or is it just a fairly flat texture)? Do you only create patterns/textures in the game, or is there an upload feature? Any information on how the Sims 3 Exchange will work? Thank you!
