Hi! When I download a lot, the icon I see next to it are 3 little books with the file name under it. I make sure the lot is in the Sims2 Download folder, not the desktop. If you see the 3 little books, right click on them and choose extract here. Wait a couple of seconds and a sims2pack icon with the file name will appear probably at the bottom of your screen. Double left click on it and the game installer should open and ask if you want to install the content. Click on install.
The main thing I think is to make sure the file is in the sims2 download folder. We'll get it solved! Your friend, millyana

Hi SuperSpend! From what you describe, you are opening your sims2pack with clean installer, or it is making you do so. When I download, I just double left click on the sims2pack itself and the game installer opens and asks me if I want to install the content. The clean installer isn't involved. If I right click on the icon, I get the option of opening with clean installer. I will forward your message to my friend Guardgian and ask her. She knows a lot more than I do!
