Hi! Sure and thank you for answearing! $\:D$ I totally agree with you on the clothes in H&M, horrible I think will be a suitable word here, totally waste of money, I bought it primarely for the clothes, so I was pretty disappointed. I´ve seen the Ikea objects on that site, it looks ok, but I ain´t that amazed, but maybe that´s just me $\:$$ $\:o$ But what the heck, guess I´ll buy it anyway just to complete the game. $\;$$ Take care! $\:rah\:$

Sorry to hear you've been having yet more problems! $\:$$ Have you checked your laptop specs with the game requirement specs? It sounds like it could be a memory/hard-drive issue - what does the 'error message' say? - that can sometimes give you a clue! $\;$$ Have you tried installing one of the other EPs rather than Uni? - see if the same thing happens then! $\;\)$ I see you still managed to get a dig in at Laurie! $\:o$ $\:P$ BTW, I've finally finished my 'Baby Bee Nursery' & will upload it soon - just to really rub things in! $\:o$ $\:P$ (It's Laurie - she's made me 'Evil'!!! $\:o$ $\:D$ ). 'On-board Graphics' - yeah, I know what you mean! $\:\)$ Ok, so you'll either need to replace the motherboard with another one with on-board graphics (making sure it's compatible with your processor!) or, in a PC, you can just add a separate graphics card & set it to use that rather than any on-board (they don't tend to be that brilliant, so that's what I've always done! $\;\)$ $\:D$ ). Not sure if there would be room or you'd be able to do that in a laptop (I've always dealt with PCs with stuff like that!), so you'd have to have a nose around & find out - the maker's website should be able to help/advise you & answer any questions! $\;\)$ $\:P$ But again, if you know the other laptop you've got is ok, none of this should affect you changing the hard-drives over! $\:D$

You need to change the display set-up if you're gonna use an external monitor with a laptop or they don't like it that much! $\:$$ The fact that yours has a bigger screen or a different sized hard-drive (GB value) shouldn't be relevant to the actual 'physical' size of the hard-drive - they're standard (unless it's different in the US, but I doubt it). The only difference might be the connection to the motherboard (if one is REALLY old & the other REALLY new, they may have a different type of connection), but you can usually tell just by looking $\;$$ If they're already out of warranty, you're not going to lose anything by opening them up & having a look! $\:P$ The other problem you might come across if you just change the hard-drives over is if Windows came pre-installed on them, with all the drivers & set-up for them as individual computers, but you can just re-install that if you've got the original discs $\;\)$ $\:D$ And yeah, that takes time too, unfortunately $\:\($ There's not usually a 'quick' fix when you mess up a computer! $\:mad\:$ $\:\($ I suppose you could always keep yourself occupied by singing whilst it's installing! $\:o$ $\:D$

Sorry to hear about your computer spoiling your fun $\:$$ If it's just the screen that's gone/goes black, but the actual computer still powers up & runs through the 'post' procedure (the beeps when you first turn it on), then it probably is the video card. If it doesn't power up at all, it could just be the power supply unit rather than the actual motherboard, but if you turn it on and it says there's power but nothing happens, then that is probably the motherboard (I used to build computers a few years ago! $\;$$ ). If your one that doesn't work is also a laptop, with similar specs to the one you're now using, you might be able to salvage the video card from that to test the other one - or you could just swap the hard-drives over, then you wouldn't lose any of the stuff you've got on your old hard-drive! $\;\)$ Just a few thoughts - let me know if they help! $\:D$
